Can't believe how powerful and quiet it is!
I bought this unit to replace a 50-year old Gast compressor driven from a 1/2 HP motor for our aerobic septic system. The air pump in our system is also used to power an air lift sludge return pump from the settling tank to the aerobic tank. Judging by the vigorous bubbling and flow rate, this air pump seems to be just as powerful as the old one and is nearly silent by comparison.

the previous one had a plastic cover and after 3 years, it cracked and leaked pressure. This one looks sturdy and absolutly silent. I hope it will last longer than the previous one.
