How It Works
De-icers play a crucial role in maintaining an ice-free area around your boat, dock, pier, or other in-water property by pushing warm bottom water to the surface. This not only protects your valuable assets but also supports aquatic life by creating open spaces for oxygen to enter the water. Kasco de-icers, renowned for their effectiveness, come equipped with two 20-foot suspension ropes and are available in various unit sizes, including 1/2 HP, 3/4 HP, and 1 HP. Kasco’s De-icers create more thrust than any other product on the market. More thrust means more open water to better protect your property.
Universal and Industrial Dock Mounts (purchased separately) are ideal for adjusting angles and/or depths.
Add a C-10 control panel (purchased separately) to determine at what temperature the unit turns on.
