Installation
Installing Your Can-Air® SS Diffuser
The self-weighted stainless steel base allows the diffuser to be lowered directly into position without adding gravel or separate ballast.
Important for ponds with fish: If the pond is not currently aerated, initially lower the diffuser to approximately half the pond depth. Slowly lower it toward the bottom over the following weeks at approximately 2 ft every other week.
Gradually introducing bottom aeration helps reduce the risk of rapidly mixing poor-quality bottom water throughout the pond.
