How the Kasco 4400D De-Icer Works
The 4400D circulates warmer water from below the surface upward into colder surface water. This continuous movement helps reduce ice formation and maintain an open-water area around docks, boats, piers, and other structures.
Suspended Installation
Two 20 ft suspension ropes are included with the de-icer, allowing you to suspend the unit directly in the water.
Adjustable Dock Mounting
Optional Universal and Industrial Dock Mounts let you adjust the de-icer angle and operating depth for different applications.
Horizontal Float Option
An optional Horizontal Float provides another installation method when you prefer to position the de-icer away from a dock or structure.
