How it Works
Muck pellets work by sinking to the bottom and settling in the sludge at the pond bottom. The bacteria and enzymes in the pellet then begin breaking down the sludge. This bacteria also uses up the nutrients that algae and weeds would otherwise thrive off of. This works faster with good aeration and water movement.

    Seeing Results

Posted by Nicole Dafoe on 6th Jul 2023

I'm seeing results using this product, especially when entering my pond from the beach. Last year, when I first stepped in, it was all gross with a mucky sinking bottom. Now, the beach sand is present and the gunk is gone and I can go up to my knees without sinking into the mucky bottom. Hopefully year after year this product cleans up the pond to where it is a nice clear sandy bottom.

    Very Effective Muck Reduction

Posted by Vin on 11th Apr 2021

I have used this product over the years and it is superb.. I had a lot of muck at the bottom of my acre pond that attracts many fall leaves and wherever the pellets dropped created about 1 ft wide crater of 6 inch depth .. Pondpro also matches latest offers if you miss it by a few weeks I am very impressed they shipped additional 2.5 Kg promotion offer which came 3 week after I had already ordered .. One suggestion though .. Please mention the strength of your muck product instead of using the term PLUS or Lake Plua etc .. Pondpro has 3 strengths of each product 1Bn, 2 and 5Bn bacteria and they should mention it clearly on the title for customers to make an informed decision

I used muck pellets last fall and was very impressed on the performance, ordered more for this year as my pond has a lot of run-off coming into it. Thank-you for this product

    Muck Pellets have performed well.

Have been using these pellets in addition to the granular bacteria. I use the pellets to cover areas that had more muck and debris. The positive change in the pond over the summer has been better than expected. Water is clear and algae is in retreat. Highly recommend.
