Description

Pond Pro® ProClear Algaecide - NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certified For Drinking Water

Discover the power of ProClear Algaecide, a premium Canadian-made solution designed specifically for ponds, dugouts, and lagoons. This NSF-60 certified product, ProClear, helps keep your water clear and free of algae. Expertly formulated to target and eliminate algae. Its easy-to-use formula makes algae treatment and prevention simple and cost-effective, helping maintain pristine water quality in Canada.

Experts recommend using ProClear Algaecide preventatively to save on labour and costs. By treating algae before it blooms, you can avoid the significantly higher costs of reactive treatments, which can be 2-3 times more expensive. Reactive treatments also require stronger chemical concentrations, which can be harsh on the water and potentially harmful to the ecosystem. ProClear is an effective solution to keep your water algae-free.

ProClear is NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certified for use as a drinking water treatment chemical where applicable and when used according to the label.

This product will not ship during freezing temperatures.

Important: ProClear is not recommended for ponds less than 50,000 US gallons. For smaller ponds, consider Pond Pro® Green Pond Clarifier.

Algae Management for Larger Waterbodies

ProClear is intended for larger closed waterbodies that require algae management. Apply it preventatively or to manage existing algae, following the product label and site conditions.

When fish are present, carefully control application rates. Do not exceed 3 L of ProClear per 1,000,000 US gallons of water.

Used this algaecide now for 6 weeks, couldn't be happier. I'm following the Pond Pro schedule on the website, approximately every 3 weeks and slightly reducing the amount each time to treat it responsibly. Check out my youtube tube to see how well it worked! https://youtu.be/dAAPRbBcDJU

One treatment following the package instructions and it took care of the fibrous algae growing in my pond. I can see to the bottom of the pond again. I'm glad I bought 4 x 4 liter jugs so I can keep on top of it.

I have a relatively small shallow pond that had the two common algae colonising it. I was happily surprised that one treatment cleared it in a few days

    Algae be gone

Posted by Stefanie on 30th Aug 2024

We had an overwhelming amout if algae in our dugout this year. we use our dugout for water our garden and for our drip system. The algae was plugging up our watering systems to the point where we were cleaning out filters after every water. So when I found this product I figured why not! I'll try anything at this point. I was a bit skeptical for one that it would work and for two that is would work as quickly as they were advertising. It has been close to 3 weeks since our first application and we have noticed a significant difference already. When we look into the dugout now, we can see through the water whereas before it was cloudy and murky. We are still cleaning out our filters but maybe once a week now opposed to after every water which is generally a couple of times a day. Overall I would say this product definitely works and I would definitely purchase again.
