Description

Pond Pro® ProClear Algaecide - NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certified For Drinking Water

Discover the power of ProClear Algaecide, a premium Canadian-made solution designed specifically for ponds, dugouts, and lagoons. This NSF-60 certified product, ProClear, helps keep your water clear and free of algae. Expertly formulated to target and eliminate algae. Its easy-to-use formula makes algae treatment and prevention simple and cost-effective, helping maintain pristine water quality in Canada.

Experts recommend using ProClear Algaecide preventatively to save on labour and costs. By treating algae before it blooms, you can avoid the significantly higher costs of reactive treatments, which can be 2-3 times more expensive. Reactive treatments also require stronger chemical concentrations, which can be harsh on the water and potentially harmful to the ecosystem. ProClear is an effective solution to keep your water algae-free.

ProClear is NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certified for use as a drinking water treatment chemical where applicable and when used according to the label.

This product will not ship during freezing temperatures.

Important: ProClear is not recommended for ponds less than 50,000 US gallons. For smaller ponds, consider Pond Pro® Green Pond Clarifier.

Algae Management for Larger Waterbodies

ProClear is intended for larger closed waterbodies that require algae management. Apply it preventatively or to manage existing algae, following the product label and site conditions.

When fish are present, carefully control application rates. Do not exceed 3 L of ProClear per 1,000,000 US gallons of water.

For small ponds without fish, the supplied directions state 25 mL per 1,000 L of water.

ProClear is not recommended for ponds less than 50,000 US gallons. For smaller ponds, consider Pond Pro® Green Pond Clarifier.

    Pro Clear Algaecide

Posted by James Stacey on 14th Jun 2022

For me, it's the only thing that clears up the spring pond scum. I generally use 1/2 gallon twice a year for my 500,000 gallon pond. Still have frogs and fish.

    Pond Pro Clear Algaecide

Posted by Colette Fontaine on 13th Apr 2022

I used this at double the recommended dose age the first day and also added Muck off at the regular dosage. I could see the Muck off working instantly and the algaecide was foaming the water right away. I do have fish in my 5500 gallon pond. I lost a few before I began treatment. My pond was completely green but now I already see a marked improvement.

Works well in our roughly 500,000 gal pond. Half a jug two maybe three times a year. Still lots of fish, turtles and frogs.

This product worked excellent. Due to the hot weather this summer, I was having issues with algae. I added this product as per the instructions and it was only a couple of days when the algae subsided and the water was clear. Pond Pro was very quick with the delivery from the time of purchase. Well done Pond Pro.
