Description
Kasco water Aquaticlear circulators provide valuable benefits to you in every season of the year.
Circulators are a great way to eliminate stagnant water and provide benefits year-round.
The Kasco AquatiClear™ Circulator creates strong, directional water movement to help manage stagnant areas around docks, shorelines, canals, marinas, ponds and lakes. Its clog-resistant design helps move floating algae, aquatic vegetation and debris away from problem areas while maintaining continuous water circulation.
AquatiClear is available in 1/2 HP, 3/4 HP and 1 HP configurations, allowing the system to be matched to different waterfront circulation requirements.
Universal Dock Mount with Simple Swivel Included: This package includes Kasco's Universal Mount with patented Simple Swivel, allowing the circulator's depth, angle and direction of flow to be adjusted from a dock, piling or other suitable waterfront structure.

Seasonal Benefits
Summer Circulation
During warmer months, AquatiClear creates movement through stagnant areas and can help move floating algae, aquatic vegetation and debris away from docks, shorelines and other targeted areas. Moving water can also make stagnant surface conditions less favourable for mosquito reproduction.
Spring Circulation
Spring circulation helps re-establish water movement after winter and can improve mixing in areas that have remained relatively stagnant. Directional flow can also help move accumulated floating material toward areas where it is easier to remove.
Fall Circulation
During fall, continued circulation can help move leaves, floating vegetation and other organic debris away from docks, shorelines and other waterfront areas before material settles or accumulates.
Winter Storage
In regions that experience significant winter freezing, Kasco recommends removing the AquatiClear circulator from the water to protect the unit from ice expansion pressure. Store the unit in a cool location above freezing and out of direct sunlight.

Universal Dock Mount
This AquatiClear package includes the Kasco Universal Mount with patented Simple Swivel. The durable stainless steel mounting system allows the circulator to be secured to a dock, piling, wall or other suitable waterfront structure while providing adjustment for operating depth, angle and direction of water flow.
The Simple Swivel allows the circulator to rotate so water flow can be redirected without repositioning the entire mount.
Customer-Supplied Pipe Required: The Universal Mount requires a 1 in. Schedule 40 minimum galvanized or stainless steel pipe with a 1-5/16 in. outer diameter. The pipe may be threaded or unthreaded, must not exceed 10 ft in length and is not included.
- Universal Mount with patented Simple Swivel included.
- Compatible with 1/2 HP, 3/4 HP and 1 HP AquatiClear units.
- Mounts to a dock, piling, wall or other suitable structure.
- Allows adjustment of unit depth, angle and direction of flow.
- Several pre-drilled holes provide multiple mounting options.
- Shoulder bolt and pivot point simplify pipe and unit installation.
- Eight 5/16 in. lag screws or suitable bolts are required to secure the base plate and are supplied by the customer.
- Optional Kasco U-bolt Kit, Part #997108K, allows installation on a suitable piling without drilling.
- Lifetime warranty on the Universal Mount.
Installation & Use
The Universal Mount allows the AquatiClear circulator to be secured to a dock, piling or other suitable waterfront structure. The customer-supplied mounting pipe allows the operating depth and angle to be adjusted, while the patented Simple Swivel provides easy rotational adjustment.
For effective surface circulation, position the AquatiClear where its directional flow can move water through the desired area. Kasco notes that installing the circulator too close to the surface may create a whirlpool and unwanted ventilation noise.
Do not direct the water flow downward toward the pond or lake bottom, as strong directional flow may disturb bottom sediment.
Shallow Water Applications: Kasco offers an optional Shallow Water Install Kit, for installations where the AquatiClear must operate closer to the surface without disturbing the bottom or creating excessive ventilation noise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Universal Dock Mount Included?
Yes. This package includes the Kasco Universal Mount with patented Simple Swivel.
What Does the Simple Swivel Do?
The Simple Swivel allows the installed AquatiClear unit to rotate so the direction of water flow can be adjusted without repositioning the entire mount.
Which AquatiClear Sizes Are Available?
AquatiClear circulators are available in 1/2 HP, 3/4 HP and 1 HP configurations.
What Size Pipe Is Required?
The Universal Mount requires a customer-supplied 1 in. Schedule 40 minimum galvanized or stainless steel pipe with a 1-5/16 in. outer diameter.
Is the Mounting Pipe Included?
No. The mounting pipe must be supplied by the customer.
How Long Can the Mounting Pipe Be?
Kasco specifies a maximum mounting pipe length of 10 ft.
Can the Depth and Angle Be Adjusted?
Yes. The Universal Mount allows the AquatiClear unit to be lowered, angled and positioned to achieve the desired operating depth and direction of water flow.
Can AquatiClear Help with Floating Algae and Debris?
Yes. AquatiClear creates directional water movement that can help push floating algae, vegetation and debris away from docks, shorelines and other problem areas. Results depend on site conditions, wind, natural currents and the amount of material present.
Can Circulation Help Reduce Mosquito Habitat?
Moving water can disrupt the stagnant surface conditions mosquito larvae prefer and may help reduce suitable breeding areas around waterfront property.
