Aeration Consulting

As mentioned in one of our previous blog posts, aeration involves introducing oxygen into water using a compressor and air release point (known as a diffuser). Aeration is widely known to improve water quality by reducing odours, lowering biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD), helping with algae control, and mitigating fish kills. Aeration can be done in a variety of ways and is most commonly done via diffusers, fountains, or surface aerators.

De-Icing Consulting

Want to keep an area of water ice-free? Consider our de-icing services! Pond Pro has experience with both industrial and dock de-icing including barges, marinas, and boat docks. We carry products such as the Kasco Marine D-Series, Bearon Aquatics Ice-Eaters, and of course, our versatile lineup of Can-Air bubbler diffusers and airline for de-icing purposes.

After the Consultation

• Design process

• Depending on the scale of the project, we’ll provide either a simple quote, design, and suggestions or a robust proposal package including corporate experience, engineer calculations and more. 

• Review and approval of design and quote

• After receiving your design, you can assess whether it will work for your project. This is also when re-designs can take shape if need be. 

• Ordering

• Once you place an order for your equipment we will be ready to ship out your items promptly. 

• Installation 

• Depending on the scope of the project, either you can install your equipment (our systems are very easy to install!) or we can send one of our installation teams to help with your larger projects.
