Pond Pro® Slime Away is a Canadian-made fast-acting granular cleaner designed to help remove slime, dead organic material, scum and surface buildup from ponds, waterfalls, fountains and other water features.
The oxygen-based formula activates when it comes into contact with water, releasing oxygen as it works. This reaction helps loosen and break down accumulated organic material on rocks, pond liners, waterfalls and other surfaces, making routine water-feature cleanup easier.
Slime Away is especially useful for targeted cleaning of areas where organic slime and debris tend to accumulate. The granular format allows the product to be applied directly to rocks, waterfalls, pond liners and other problem areas.

How to Apply
Sprinkle a thin layer of Slime Away directly over problem areas such as rocks, waterfalls, pond liners and other surfaces with visible slime or organic buildup.
When treating a waterfall, turn the pump off before applying the product. Allow Slime Away to remain on the treated surface for approximately 15–20 minutes, then turn the pump back on.
Applications may be repeated as needed or used weekly as a preventative treatment.
Important: Slime Away can increase water pH. Monitor pH carefully when fish or other aquatic life are present and follow the product directions closely to avoid exposing aquatic life to unsuitable water conditions.
Safety Precautions
Wear appropriate protective equipment during application, including gloves, safety glasses and a suitable mask. Avoid direct contact with the product and always follow the safety and handling directions supplied with the product.
